sry i missed your call,

ok, now looking at the refrence you used (good refrence by the way) you got close with rin's face (that angle is tough sometimes.) but you cut off the hand, and her arm-.-
the guy's face angle doesn't match kohaku's. looking at this and your other pics makes me think your gettin too used to draw that particular angle of the face. (your starting to fall into the same pattern as you know who, don't do that!!! )
i think it would'e been a good exersize to draw kohaku's hands as they were in your refrence over rin's hair. don't hide hands man

to sum up, YES REFRENCE GOOD!!! you are looking at a ref, BUT i think your drawing whats in your head too much, and not looking at the photo enough. you almost got it with rin's head, but you missed a few points in other areas. the only advice i can give you is look carefully at the shapes/forms in the photo and work from that.

I'll have you know that that Cocknut Kohaku is a bitch to draw, with his damn Miroku clone hair. (you ever notice that Everyone has a hair-clone in that show?) And as per your arm comment, that is how the damnable thing looks in the photo ref. And I was taking them out of Takahashi style which is why it most likely doesnt look like Kohaku to you. And I drew the hands I'll have you know but Rin's hair was right in the way (damn Kagome-clone hair)
